Daniel Greer I know there are tons of you out there that remember when the Atari 2600 first hit the market. The first video game to hit the market was pong, but shortly after that the Atari 2600 was released. The Atari 2600 was something that just about every single kid asked for, for Christmas back in 1977 and a lot of homes had one of these units by 1980. It is because of these fond memories that we have chose to check out the new Atari Paddle Controller with 13 games system.
For those of you who remember that old Atari system you have got to remember the paddles that came with that game. Obviously some of you might not remember the paddles mainly because they did not come with the device when it was first released they were something which you had to invest in for certain games. It was not until years later when the Atari began being offered with the paddles once you purchased the actual console. Something you might also remember is that if you had the paddles you most likely liked the paddle games more that the games that you needed the joystick for.
Atari made a decision to generate a plug and play paddle system, and the reason I believe they did this is because the paddle games were so popular. Almost every single TV that’s been released during the last 10 years has RCA input jacks, and those jacks are what you plug the game into. Needless to say if you have a TV that is more than ten years old there’s the chance that your TV doesn’t have these inputs, of course, if that is the case you’ll not have the ability to use this new unit. But like I said, almost every TV that has been created within the last 10 years have these jacks.
This gaming system is included with, Video Olympics, Pong, Circus Atari and Street racer along with plenty of various other games. For individuals who do remember the Atari 2600 you already know that one of the most popular games was Kaboom but it is not incorporated in this system. While this may be a massive oversight on Atari’s part, the other games that they did include in this system are really great games as well. Obviously you’ll realize that this new release of the Atari games isn’t going to cost anywhere near the $200 the Atari 2600 first sold for.

You will in fact be saving over five dollars by ordering this from Amazon as opposed to having to pay retail for this device. You’ll have the ability to play a lot of of your favorite paddle games with this one small little device.
